Taking time to chat is important, this is your opportunity to talk to university representatives who may be reading your applications. Use these questions to get your conversation started.

  • What distinguishes you from the other institutions?
  • How many international students are on campus and where do they come from?
  • What is the community around the university like?
  • I’m interested in XYZ field of study. What is this major/programme like at your institution?
  • How do I apply to your school and what are your requirements and deadlines?
  • Do you require standardized tests for admission?
  • Can students take a gap year before enrolling?
  • What are your opportunities for scholarships and financial aid?

 

 

Before the Exploration Day opens

  • First, you register. Click the green button on the top right of this page. 
  • View the full list of attending universities.
  • Visit the virtual university booths a week in advance to view resources and determine which you want to talk with when event is live. 
  • Filter your search options by geographic region, institution type, campus size, etc. 
  • Preview a list of on-demand presentations and sessions available in each university booth

When the Exploration Day is open

  • Join the university's Group Video Chat to connect with the representatives face-to-face
  • Your contact information is automatically shared with the university when you enter their virtual booth to view their resources.
  • Don't miss the opportunity to learn more about the university by watching their on-demand presentations and sessions in their virtual booth.
