Description

This session will discuss current state of environmental problems facing mankind - how bad the situation really is and what will happen if all the current warning signs are ignored and we continue with the relentless exploitation of our natural resources. A lack of genuine international cooperation makes it very difficult to deal with global environmental problems such as climate change, marine pollution and biodiversity loss. Learn how education can play a crucial role in equipping graduates with the skills and knowledge to do something about the precarious state our planet is in.
